Renée Stout is a mixed media artist whose work I've admired for some time. She has ties to Pittsburgh (having lived here in her teens and getting a degree from Carnegie Mellon University.) Here is a bit about her gathered from the internet: "She exercises the inspirational, empowering functions of a conjurer in her transformations of found materials and interpretations of ideas and feelings.
