The late July 2007 opening of Michael deMeng's show at Gallerie Chiz in Pittsburgh (Shadyside) happened just in time for the first Friday gallery crawl on Ellsworth Ave. It was an extremely hot night but Debbie, Lily and I met at the thankfully air-conditioned Gallery to view deMeng's diminutive but powerful group of assemblage pieces. Most pieces were approximately 2"x5" with incredible detail
